At 4 p.m., I wrapped up work early and went out for a run—a 17-kilometer jog. The Tama River embankment was blazing hot even in the late afternoon, but the southern breeze felt good. I stopped by a convenience store along the way for an ice cream. Delicious.
After getting back home, I soaked in a cold bath and watched the night game. With Satozaki doing commentary, it couldn’t have been better. It’s rare for the Swallows, but today it felt like they won with defense.
