青梅市の多摩川河川敷周辺で自動車のロケーション撮影だった。日曜日の8時に現場に到着した。集合時間まではまだ余裕があったので、誰もいない野球場のまわりを散歩した。
9時に撮影開始。ちょうど同じころ、少年野球の練習も始まった。かつて野球少年だったぼくは、撮影中もつい、少年たちの動作に目を奪われた。
We had a car photo shoot scheduled near the Tama River in Ome City. I arrived at the location around 8 a.m. on Sunday. Since there was still time before the crew was set to gather, I took a walk around the empty baseball field nearby.
The shoot began at 9. Around the same time, a group of boys arrived to begin their baseball practice. I used to play baseball when I was a kid, and even as we worked, I found myself drawn to the way they moved.
