A Well-Fed Sunday, 20250713

I arrived at the site at 6:30 a.m. and went for a light run around the area. I started work in my running gear—needless to say, I moved well. My body was loosened up, and my clothes were light and easy to move in. We wrapped up by 8:30.

Afterward, I stopped by a nearby park for a little picnic with biscuits and chocolate cream puffs, soaking in some serotonin. When I got home and took a nap, I slept soundly—I must have been more tired than I realized. Or maybe the serotonin worked right away.

At tea time, I had a slice of walnut cake baked by my amiga. It was delicious. In return, I cooked dinner: potato salad, sautéed mushrooms, and miso soup with eggplant, among other things. That was delicious too.

To end the day, I drove through central Tokyo to drop her off. A well-fed, good Sunday.
