夜は4キロのジョグ。これからは紫陽花の成長を観察するのが楽しみになる。
All day, I worked from home.
In the evening, the sunset was so beautiful from my desk that I had to stop and look.
It reminded me of that haiku by Seishi Yamaguchi:
歩を進めがたしや天地夕焼けて
(ho-o susume gatashi-ya tenchi yūyakete)
I can hardly take a step—
the sky and earth
burn with sunset
Later that night, I went for a 4-kilometer jog.
From now on, I’m looking forward to watching the hydrangeas grow.
