4時に起きてF1の決勝レースを観る。場所はマイアミ。アメリカ大陸開催は時差がつらい。予報されていた雨が降らなかったのはすこし残念。マクラーレンのオスカー・ピアストリが今週も勝って、これで3連勝。絶好調。だれも手がつけられない。フェルスタッペンの強引なブロックをあっさりと避けて先頭に立つと、そのあとは独走した。それはお手本のような優雅なオーバーテイクだった。

woke up at 4 a.m. to watch the F1 Grand Prix. This time, the race was held in Miami. Races on the American continent are tough because of the time difference.
It was a bit disappointing that the forecasted rain never came.
Oscar Piastri of McLaren took his third consecutive win this week. He’s in phenomenal form—no one can touch him right now. After elegantly avoiding Verstappen’s aggressive block to take the lead, he simply ran away with the race. It was a graceful overtake.
