ここのところ、猫は飼い主が丸めて床に投げ捨てたメモ用紙で遊んでいる。本当は、散らばった紙くずを拾い集めてゴミ箱に捨てたいのだが、仕方がないので、いくつかは床に残したままにしている。
Lately, the cat has been playing with crumpled scraps of notepaper that I tossed onto the floor.
I’d really prefer to pick them all up and throw them away, but I’ve resigned myself to leaving a few scattered about.
