猫の集会所の脇の小道から里山に入り自然の中を走った。野鳥の声と樹々の揺れる音しかしない。蝶々も舞っていた。湿った硬い土の斜面で転んだ。胸がすくような心地がした。さっぱりした。何度か足を止めて八重桜を鑑賞した。
I entered the satoyama from a narrow path beside the cats’ gathering spot and ran into the quiet of nature.
There were only the calls of wild birds and the sound of trees rustling in the wind. Butterflies danced in the air.
I slipped on a damp, hard earthen slope and fell. But it felt strangely exhilarating—like something was released. I felt refreshed.
I paused a few times to admire the double-flowered cherry blossoms.
